My name is Martin Oatridge and I am a Driving and Vehicle Standards Authority Approved Driving Instructor, or ADI, based in Lee-on-Solent. I have been an instructor for 10 years, and before that was a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Navy, specialising in the maintenance of the ships electronic warfare and communication equipment. I am a calm and patient instructor, and believe that a structured and enjoyable lesson for my students enables them to progress and learn more quickly. My ultimate aim is to help all of my pupils become confident, competent and safe drivers.

I am happy to provide weekly lessons, semi intensive or intensive courses, and also refresher courses for those that have passed but not driven for a while, as well as the Pass Plus course or even motorway lessons. I provide all of my students with free lesson plans, which can be a great help to improvement if used well, and also free use of the Theory Test Pro app for those who have not completed their theory test.
